Brosscum Publications was founded in 1996 by Greg A. Lapp when he discovered that other directors were interested in the music he had written and arranged for his own high school choirs. Brosscum Publications promotes music written by working directors in their chosen fields. We believe this direct contact with performers plays a vital role in producing quality literature which is accessible and practical for schools and churches.

Directors know best what their singers can handle in literature and what they need educationally. We have found that the music produced by directors is accessible and useful for other directors as well. Each piece in our catalogue has been successfully performed by choirs in schools and churches. We suggest you give them a try.

Brosscum Publications has sold music to more than 45 institutions throughout the Americas. Selections from the Brosscum Publications catalogue have been performed throughout the United States, Japan, and Europe, including ACDA Conventions and County Honor Choirs. Long, Long Ago was a First Prize winner in the Christmas Song Writing Competition sponsored by the Amadeus Choir of Greater Toronto, 1997.
